RANDOLPH, NJ- With eight seniors on their 13 member squad, including most of last years’ starters, the Randolph Girls Volleyball team has high hopes for the 2018 season. “We have many experienced seniors with multiple seasons of varsity under their belt,” said Coach Sheri Data. “Each player on the team can play several positions, so we certainly are looking forward to having a fun and productive 2018 girls’ volleyball season.” Read more hereThe Randolph Girls Volleyball team is optimistic for the 2018 volleyball season. The team is comprised with 13 members, eight of which are experienced seniors. According to Coach Sheri Data, the seniors have already played with several seasons under her supervision. Also, all of the girls are skilled in playing several positions. One of the team captains is Caleigh Cox. She has been a varsity player for four years now and is considered the most experienced in the team. Cox's dream is to win a County Championship. According to one of the team captains Jenna Heil, Coach Data reminds the team to have fun and make the most of the season. Aside from Cox being the senior Outside Hitter, some of the key returning players in the team include Alexis Kemp, Senior Setter and Stephanie Renna, Senior Middle Hitter. The team also welcomes five new players who have been part of the program for the past seasons.
Sports lovers will have a fantastic time at Freedom Park. This park is connected with Brundage Park on Carrell Road and is enclosed by James Andrews County Park. It features seven athletic fields that can be used for football, baseball, and lacrosse. The park also has a softball field and sand volleyball court. It also comes with a huge and colorful playground area perfect for the entertainment of kids. The playground has different sections for children of all ages.
